Chamomile Raspberry Popsicles for Digestive Balance
Now that we’ve covered The Master Herb List for Digestive Health, let’s dive into one the favorite and most well known of these herbs — Chamomile.
Chamomile is a perfect calming herb for digestive complaints. Check out the list of actions below:

These attributes make Chamomile helpful for colitis, IBD, diverticulosis, pain, stress, anxiety, indigestion, and insomnia. Yes, this herb is very versatile and can be used for other complaints like fevers and infections, but we’re focused on Digestion so lets stay focused. If you have a weak digestive system or want to have a yummy way to soothe stomach aches and such, you might wanna use the following recipe.
Chamomile Raspberry Popsicles
These popsicles are a great for any summer day, but are especially handy for little tummies at any time. Replace electrolytes while soothing the stomachs of all ages. Make sure you have wooden popsicle stick and some type of mold ready, unless you’re from the hood and you wanna go old school Icy Cup on em! LOL!
You’ll need:
2 tbsp dried Chamomile
1 tbsp dried Hibiscus
1/2 cup fresh red raspberries (in pieces)
4 tbsp of sweetener (i like agave but you can use honey or something similar)
1 tbsp pure lemon juice
1 cup yogurt (your choice)
Make it:
Bring 1 1/4 cups of water to a boil. Put the chamomile and Hibiscus in a cup and pour the boiling water over it.Steep for 10 minutes.
Strain the tea into a small, pouring bowl. While the tea is still hot, add your sweetener. Taste it to make sure its sweet enough cause I know how y’all can be. 😏
Add the lemon juice to your sweetened tea and stir. Let this cool for about 5 minutes.
Now add in your yogurt of choice and the raspberry bits. Mix it well!
Pour the mixture into your molds (or paper/foam cups if you wanna go old school), and insert the wooden stick in the center. Freeze!
Eat these within the week!
