How Yoni Eggs Work

Yoni Eggs are carved from crystals into the shape of eggs. They are inserted into the vagina for up to 12 hours per day for the purpose of strengthening the vaginal muscles, connecting with your Sacred femininity, and toning the pelvic floor. Upon receiving your yoni egg you should give it a thorough cleansing. Use a natural soap to wash it. Rinse thoroughly, holding your egg under running water with the tip facing downward. Preparation:

After you clear your yoni egg, you might want to charge it. Charge your yoni egg by placing it in the window sill all day under the sun or with moon light at night. It is especially powerful when you place your yoni egg under the light of the Full Moon.

Once you’ve charged your egg, it is time to set your intentions. Each crystal has a unique “pre-set” intention except for Clear Crystal Quartz. Clear Quartz can be your all-knowing stone and can hold nearly any intention. It is recommended that Crystal Beginners choose Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz, or Amethyst. Set your deepest desire upon your Yoni Egg, hold it in the palm of your hand, state your intentions out loud repeatedly until you feel an energetic shift.

Insertion:

First, tie your string/cord onto the tip of your Yoni Egg (through the drilled holes). Make sure the cord is long enough to pull in case you need the assistance. Insert your yoni egg just like you would a tampon (or cup), making sure that the pointed or drilled side is facing down. This means the larger side is inserted first. Don't worry, your yoni egg won't get stuck! It can only go as far as your cervix, which acts as a wall, keeping the egg within the vaginal canal only. Get creative and have fun with weightlifting. Removal:

Removing your yoni egg is simple. Just get into a squatted position and push out with your vaginal muscles. If needed, you may use your fingers to scoop the yoni egg out or pull the string if you use one.

How to use a Yoni Egg

Exercise vaginal muscles:

The most common use of the yoni egg is strengthening vaginal muscles. Simply insert your yoni egg and begin kegel exercise. You may keep your egg inserted for up to 12 hours per day. Make sure to cleanse after each use.

Meditation:

Use the yoni crystal to meditate just as you would with any other crystal. Hold it in your hands, inside your vagina, or place on your altar. Begin to relax, clear your mind and connect with your higher self. Let the powerful energies flow through your yoni egg and yourself.

Sacred Yoni breathing:

The practice of connecting with your yoni and sexual energy. Insert your yoni egg into your vagina or hold your yoni egg on your womb, begin to inhale and exhale with you mind and body focused on your yoni. At the same time you inhale squeeze your vaginal muscles, on the exhale release your vaginal muscles. Be sure to be in sync with your squeezes and breathes. Use this time to focus on you, your body, sexual energy and bringing out your feminine side.

Get Spiritual with Crystals

Cleanse: A gemstone never loses it's earth given energy, however, it's a good idea to clear and prepare your yoni gem to remove any negative energy that may be lingering.

Smudge: You can use Sage, Palo Santo or Cedar, Burn your choice of smudge and spread over your crystals allowing the cleansing smoke to be absorbed, do this for a few minutes.

Charge:Also, you'll want to charge and infuse your yoni crystal with your own energy and vibrations for the ultimate healing experience. Here are some of our favorite ways to clear and prepare gemstones:

Sun or Moon light: Place your gemstone under the sun or moon light. Let sit for a couple hours or as long as you feel is needed.

Sea Salt: Place your gemstone in a bowl of sea salt and allow the salt to charge.

Earth: Place your gemstone in the earth; on grass, in a hole, on the beach, in a plant etc. Let it sit over night or a couple hours.

Meditate:Crystals can assist in meditation by magnifying personal energy while connecting with the universal powers.

Set Intentions: Hold the crystal in the palms of your hand, state your intentions out loud or in your head. Repeat your intentions until you feel they are set.

Manifest Dreams & Goals: Hold or wear your crystal, close your eyes and envision what you want. Think about it in detail; How does it feel, what does it look like, smell like, taste like... Align yourself with what you want.
